Dynamo Metalfest has added Shadow Of Intent to its 2027 bill, alongside two sets built entirely out of the festival's own past.

Biohazard will play a Dynamo 93 set centred on Urban Discipline, which is a specific promise rather than a vague nostalgia booking. Dynamo in the early 1990s was where that band met a European audience, and recreating the year rather than the album is the unusual part.

John Bush is the other. He sang for Anthrax for a decade and for Armored Saint before and after, and he is bringing a set of nothing but songs from the Anthrax years, which is a catalogue that band's current line-up does not play.

Shadow Of Intent are the one booking facing forward, a deathcore group whose arrangements are closer to film scoring than to the genre they are filed under.

The festival runs in Eindhoven next summer, on the ground that gave the whole thing its name and a reputation that outlived the original event by twenty years.

Two of these three bookings are sets that can only be played once, which is a sharper way to sell a festival than another round of the same headliners.
