Elder have rescheduled the North American tour they abandoned in the autumn. It now runs through April 2027, opening on 2 April at The Odeon in Cleveland, with Blackwater Holylight supporting most nights as they were meant to the first time.

The run stopped when bassist Jack Donovan was taken ill. What looked at first like pneumonia turned out to be a congenital heart condition, and he had open heart surgery. The band say he is recovering.

Every cancelled date is back and a handful of new ones have been added, which is not how these things usually end. A tour pulled mid route normally loses a third of its dates for good, because the halls have been resold and the support has taken other work. Getting the whole list back five months later means the band went looking for the same rooms rather than the convenient ones.

Tickets bought for the postponed shows are still valid. The new dates go on sale on 6 November at ten in the morning local time, with Cleveland to be confirmed separately, and the Chicago and Denver shows have moved to bigger venues.
