Eleine have released "Liars Linger", a new single with a visualizer, from The Water Taste Of Blood. Their fifth album comes out on 4 December through Algoth Records and Sound Pollution.
The band describe the song as being about betrayal by someone trusted completely, and about refusing to let the damage turn into fear. "It's heartbreaking yet uplifting, heavy but fragile," they said, calling its chorus one of the strongest on the album.
Eleine come from southern Sweden and are led by vocalist MadEleine Liljestam and guitarist and vocalist Rikard Ekberg. They have had a number one album on the Swedish sales chart, and have shared stages with Arch Enemy, Kamelot, Pain, Sonata Arctica and W.A.S.P. while building their own headline tours.
The album follows We Shall Remain from 2023.
