Endless Chain have released "Save Me", the third song from Nothingness, which M-Theory Audio release on 20 November.
The band run two singers, Ville Hovi and Aki Salonen, and the songs are built on the distance between them rather than on one handing off to the other. Hovi wrote the words here, and what he describes is a man whose grief has started rewriting what he remembers.
"As time passes, his memories begin to blur with reality, making it difficult to tell what belongs to the present and what belongs to the past, what is real and what is imagined," he said.
It follows "Fade To Nothingness" and "Down", the song the band said set the album's direction. Three songs out of a record a month before it lands is a lot, and it suggests a label backing the release harder than a Finnish band's second album usually gets backed.
Dronicon Films, who have worked with Swallow The Sun and Kryptos, made the accompanying film.
