Endonomos have made a music video for Atheon Anarkhon, a song from an album that came out in September 2024, to accompany the vinyl reissue of Endonomos II: Enlightenment on Argonauta Records.
Bands do not usually spend money filming for a reissue, and metal.de, who premiered it, say as much in their first line. The money normally goes to whatever is next. What makes this one defensible is the song's live record: Atheon Anarkhon has stayed in the Austrians' set since the album appeared, which means the audience knows it better than anything else they have.
It is also the track that explains the band. The eerie opening on clean guitars and bass synthesiser, the flat riff that follows it, then a chorus that goes further towards melody than death doom usually allows, and a finish on harmonised leads. Three minutes of it covers most of what the second album does across its length.
This is their third full video, shot with Framepunk Guerilla. The vinyl is a bone coloured pressing and is on sale through the band and the label.
