Entrails release Memorial Garden on 29 January 2027, their ninth album.
Nine is a number worth pausing on with this band. They formed in 1990, recorded demos, and then stopped for the best part of twenty years before Jimmy Lundqvist pulled the whole thing back out of storage in 2008. Everything since has come at roughly one record every two years, which means the second half of their career has produced all of it.
The music has never moved. This is Stockholm death metal played the way it was played before the city's scene became a style other people copy, with the guitar tone that belongs to one studio and one decade.
Bands that refuse to develop usually get written off, and this one has instead found an audience that wants exactly that and nothing else. A ninth album is what happens when you give those people what they asked for nine times.
The title and the artwork were published with the date, and the tracklist with them.
