Epica have released Live at The Symphonic Synergy worldwide as a digital album. It comes from the sold out night at AFAS Amsterdam on 20 September 2024, with the band playing alongside a full orchestra and choir, and a live video of Consign To Oblivion has gone out with it.
The tracklist opens with Welcome to The Symphonic Synergy, then Unleashed, The Essence of Silence, Menace of Vanity, Sensorium, The Fifth Guardian and Crimson Bow and Arrow, which is a running order built for the orchestra rather than for a club set.
The band have been doing the orchestral thing for most of their twenty odd years, and the point of a digital edition two years after the concert is that the audio stands on its own without the film around it.
