Eshtadur released In Darkness All Shadows Gone on 2 October through Rockshots Records, with a video for Soy Real, the song that closes it. Twelve tracks, four years of work, and a real orchestra on the record rather than a keyboard standing in for one.

The Caldas Symphonic Orchestra was recorded at Batuta's Theater in Manizales, and what sits on top of it is melodic black and death metal with layered vocals, folk elements and Tuvan throat singing. The band are plain about what that cost: "It is a long album with twelve tracks, symphonic arrangements, a real orchestra, many vocal layers, and Tuvan voices. At times, it felt like a giant puzzle, but everything finally came together."

The album follows The Crow, a shamanic figure moving between existence, death and the void, from the opening Age of Antumbra to Soy Real, which the band describe as the point where the seeker takes off every mask. The Crow was already awake when Thunderground came out; this is where that story ends.

Jorg August wrote the music, the lyrics and the orchestral arrangements and recorded the album at RockStar Studios Colombia. The drums were recorded in Poland by Michal Lysejko of Dieth, Tomasz Zed Zalewski mixed and mastered, Chris Clancy mixed two tracks, Camilo Barbosa plays the solo on Soy Real, and the cover is by Valesia Obscura. Four singles preceded it: Into The Woods, August's Burdens, Omen Of Millennia and Thunderground.
