Esophagus have released Kaail, a four track EP, through Reality Fade.

The running order is "Genna", "Yautja Prime", "The Alpha" with Felipe González of Cercenated Flesh guesting, and a cover of Devourment's "Choking on Bile" to finish. Closing a slam record with that particular cover is a statement of lineage rather than a filler choice: Devourment are the band every group in this register is measured against, and taking on one of their songs invites the comparison on purpose.

It was assembled in pieces. Drums went down at Beat Crusher between November and December 2025, guitars at Nihilanth in January, vocals with Jonathan Matamala at Mata-Audio in March, and bass, mixing and mastering at Miasmatic Myiasis.

The band have been working in Concepción since 2008 and have three albums and a long tail of demos and splits behind them, which in Chilean brutal death metal counts as an institution.
