Estertor have released the title track of Evil Black Church, the first piece of an album Black Lion Records puts out on 23 October, on CD, vinyl and digitally. It comes as a lyric video.

The record is a concept album and the concept is Italian horror cinema, the films that ran on late night television long after the cinemas had finished with them: Demons, Black Sunday, From Beyond. Eight songs carry it, among them "Night of the Owl", "Scumbags from Hell", "March of the Dèmoni", "Open Coffin Empty Grave" and "Seven Portals of Evil". The thrash underneath is the old kind, closer to the first wave than to anything polished, with the rawness of early heavy metal and some death metal in the riffing.

It is their third full length and the first in five years, after Buried in Morningside in 2017 and Tales from the Ancient Grave in 2021. The band formed in Barcelona in 2009, stopped in 2011, and have been going again since 2016. Edu sings, Des and Dani play guitars, Shogoth plays bass and Enrique drums.
