Exhorder have cancelled the last three dates of the Tour Of Unsound Minds: Act II. Omaha on 15 October, Iowa City on 16 October and Evansville on 18 October are off, all three with Intoxicated, No/Mas and Phantom on the bill.
The statement went up on Thursday. The New Orleans band thanked the support acts and the audiences and confirmed that those were their last shows of 2026. No reason for the cancellations has been given, which with three dates left on a run usually means something the band would rather not put in a press statement.
What they did say is where the attention goes next: a fifth studio album, the follow up to Defectum Omnium from 2024. For a band whose first two records came out in 1990 and 1992 and whose third took until 2019, two albums inside five years is the fastest they have ever worked.
The European dates in the new year, a three way run with Heathen and Evil Invaders, are not affected by this.
