Fate Unburied have released Expecting Nothing, from Neraspeme, which arrives on 16 October through Time To Kill Records.
The title reads like giving up and the song is about the part before that. "'Expecting Nothing' explores the darker side of hope, where something still lingers even when there is almost nothing left to hold onto," the band said. It opens melancholy, then goes through sharp riffs and sudden turns without ever settling into a verse and a chorus.
The album runs twelve tracks and follows a relationship coming apart, from anger through disorientation and exhaustion to a bent kind of hope that resolves nothing and redeems nobody. The band are from Vicenza and have been at this since 2013.
