Feuerschwanz have released Carpe Noctem with In Extremo on it, and the pairing is not a favour between labelmates. The two bands co-headline the Heute wird der Himmel brennen tour across Germany in spring 2027, and this is the song that run gets introduced with.

Feuerschwanz took the title from Stoker: listen to them, the children of the night, what music they make, which is Dracula in the 1897 novel. In their version, they say, the children of the night become the warriors of the night. That is roughly the distance between German medieval rock and what Feuerschwanz do with it now, and In Extremo, who came out of that scene first, are the obvious guests.

Before the tour, Feuerschwanz hold their own METFEST on 19 December at the Grugahalle in Essen.
