Fusion Bomb have taken on Serhii Bondar as a full time bass player.
The announcement came alongside "Unison", the single we covered when it arrived, which Billy Kauffmann mixed and mastered. Putting the two together is deliberate: a band that has just made a record wants the person who will play it live named before anyone asks.
Luxembourg has a thrash scene of a handful of bands, and Fusion Bomb are the one that tours outside it. A permanent bassist matters more at that size than it does for a band with a booking agent, because the alternative is a different stand in in every country and a set that never settles.
Nothing has been said about an album, and the band have kept to singles this year. For a group whose last run of shows went out with a stand in on bass, naming one properly is the quieter half of the announcement and the half that will show on stage.
