Godslut have put out a film for "The Art Of Deconstruction", the title track of their second album, shot and edited by Robert Zembrzycki.

Krzysiek Sniadecki and Karolina Dziewonska wrote it by pooling their own wreckage. "It is a song about a love woven from dreams that slowly turns into its own shadow," Dziewonska said. "A beautiful illusion that, instead of offering shelter, gradually tears us apart from within." She calls the writing a catharsis that let her close certain chapters.

The guest is the detail. Grzegorz Feliks, who played with Sniadecki in Deathyard years ago, came in on fretless bass, an instrument almost nobody uses in this music. "The track resonated with me immediately," he said, and he recorded his part after a show, in Sniadecki's studio.

Selfmadegod released the album on 4 September. The first film was shot in a guitar factory, and the band have been going only since 2021.
