Parkway Drive headline the South Stage at Graspop Metal Meeting on Thursday 17 June, the first of four names the festival has put out for its thirtieth edition.
Faith No More take the North Stage on Friday 18 June, eleven years after they last played Dessel and four after they had to cancel. Saturday splits two ways: Blink-182 close the South Stage, their first appearance at the festival, and Marilyn Manson tops the North.
A punk band from San Diego closing a stage at Graspop will start the usual argument, and the festival clearly knows it. Thirty years of booking has taught them that the arguments sell as many tickets as the agreement does.
Parkway Drive last headlined in 2023 and are the safest of the four, which in a year when the other three all come with an asterisk is worth something.
Four names is early for a June festival, and Graspop have always drip fed the rest through the winter. More follow.
