Graspop Metal Meeting have announced a hundred and two more bands for 2027, which is a second wave larger than most festivals manage as a complete bill.
The names at the top of it are Amon Amarth, Dimmu Borgir, Lorna Shore, Arch Enemy, Kreator, Body Count with Ice-T, Motionless in White, Down, Staind, Bad Religion and Tom Morello. Bruce Dickinson and Floor Jansen are on it under their own names, and British Lion is listed separately from him.
Underneath that the list is where the interest is. Legion Of The Damned, Cryptopsy, Overkill, Metal Church, Armored Saint, Forbidden, Scour, Kataklysm, Paradise Lost, Prong, Eluveitie, Finntroll, Korpiklaani, Igorrr, Boris, GWAR, Nailbomb, Humanity's Last Breath and Orbit Culture all appear, next to Killswitch Engage, Converge, Comeback Kid, Clutch, Beartooth, Jinjer, Imminence and After The Burial.
Dessel takes it in from the middle of next summer. A hundred and two names in one announcement means the running order, not the bill, is now the thing people will argue about.
