Harakiri For The Sky release Reliving The Trauma, Live at Theater Akzent on 4 December through AOP Records.
It is the Vienna concert from 1 May this year, where the band played III: Trauma from beginning to end for its tenth anniversary. All eight pieces, in order, which for this band means close to eighty minutes of music that was never written to be shortened.
Playing a theatre rather than a club matters here. Theater Akzent seats its audience, and a group whose records are built on long slow builds gets a room that lets them work without a bar at the back.
It comes out on CD in a digipak with a fold out booklet and on gatefold double vinyl, and among the variants is a sunset coloured pressing of ninety nine copies, which will be gone before December.
Funeral Dreams was the first thing released from it. Before the album arrives they play nine British and Irish dates with Sunken, from 19 to 27 November.
