HateSphere have put out a video for Mouth Filled With Barbed Wire, the third song off Guillotine, which Scarlet Records release on 9 October.
The band describe it as being about liberating yourself by denouncing systematic, societal and religious oppression, and about there being something empowering in choosing defiance. That is a broader target than Danish thrash usually picks, and the title is the kind of image the genre reaches for when it means it.
The band have been running out of Denmark since the late nineties and have spent that whole time in the narrow seam between thrash and death metal without settling on either. Guillotine is the third single deep now, which is more of a record than most bands show before release.
