Havok released a new single, "The Ultimate Weapon", with a video, through BLKIIBLK.
The timing is deliberate. "We're excited to debut this new song right before our two headline tours begin," the band said. "We'll be playing 'The Ultimate Weapon' live and look forward to hearing crowds shout the choruses with us. Driving riffs, rock and roll attitude, and anti-authoritarian lyrics. This is what heavy metal is all about. This is Havok."
The band tour Europe and the United Kingdom this month with Blood Red Throne, Xonor and Eradikated. The North American leg follows in the autumn: 26 dates with Hellripper, Slackjaw and Xoth, opening on 21 October at Metro Music Hall in Salt Lake City and finishing on 20 November at the Gothic Theatre in Denver, which is home ground.
The Colorado quartet released the New Eyes EP in 2024, their first independent release. Before that came Burn in 2009, Time Is Up in 2011, Unnatural Selection in 2013, Conformicide in 2017 and V in 2020.
