Häxmästaren have put Skuggor del 1 up in full, three days before Majestic Mountain Records release it on 2 November.
Three songs: Shadows of the Black Sun, Kill the Light and Skuggor. The title says part one, so there is a second half coming, and splitting an EP in two is either a band with more material than fits or one that wants to be heard twice this year instead of once.
Five years since Sol i exil, which is a long gap for a band that was putting out an album every three. Gothenburg is the last place anybody expects slow heavy riffs from, and that has always worked in this band's favour: nothing about them sounds like it was made to fit the city they are in.
Majestic Mountain have built a roster out of exactly this, Swedish stoner and doom made by people who do not care what the neighbours are playing. The EP streams now and arrives properly on Monday.
