Heathen have given Lifetime in Hell a date. Napalm Records put it out on 19 February 2027, which is the piece that was missing when the band opened the record with Escapegoat and started taking pre orders without saying when the album itself would arrive.

Everything else about it was already known from the single. Zeuss produced it and Jason Bittner played the drums. The singer David White says the band spent "the last year or so recording whenever we could make it happen" after touring Empire of the Blind around the world, which is the album this one follows.

The dates sit in front of the record rather than behind it. White calls the American run with Forbidden and Void the band's final tour of 2026, and says Europe comes in the new year as a three way revolving headline tour with Exhorder and Evil Invaders of Belgium. All of that happens before 19 February.

"Escapegoat" stays the only song out of it so far. Kragen Lum put its subject plainly: "We look for every opportunity to escape, to disappear into doom scrolling, binge watching, gaming, drugs, alcohol, and anything else that gives us a momentary release from the weight of reality... Until we can't." The album title suggests he was not finished with the thought.
