Heavy Pettin join Uriah Heep as special guests for twenty one European dates, starting on 24 October in Haarlem, and have released a video for "X-Rated" the day before it begins.
The run is their second with the same headliner this year, after a Scandinavian tour earlier in 2026. The Magician's Farewell tour is billed as the end of the road for the band above them, which makes a support slot on it worth more than the usual one.
"X-Rated" comes from Rock Generation, out now through Silver Lining Music, recorded at Morsecode Studios in Glasgow with Ciarán O'Shea producing. The film cuts live footage together with material shot on the road, edited by Freakshot Film.
"C'mon be honest, everybody wants to be X-Rated," said Stephen "Hamie" Hayman, who sings and founded the band.
The Glasgow band have been going since 1981, which puts them in the second wave of British heavy metal rather than anywhere near it, and Rock Generation is the fourth album in a catalogue of twenty one releases.
