Helloween headline the Friday of Heavy Week-End 2027, on 4 June, with the 40 Years Anniversary Tour they started in 2025 and have been extending ever since.
Falling in Reverse take the Saturday, a band that has barely ever played a French stage, and Marilyn Manson closes the festival on Sunday 6 June.
The venue is the reason this festival has grown as fast as it has. The Zenith de Nancy opens onto an open-air amphitheatre, with stone stands around a standing pit, and it holds twenty thousand a day with close to ten thousand of them seated. Roughly forty thousand people came through over three days in June 2026.
The format is the other reason. Four bands a day, one after another, on one stage, so nothing clashes and nobody runs between tents. Three editions in, the bills have carried Scorpions, Slipknot, Judas Priest, Gojira, Megadeth and Sabaton, which is a lot of weight for a festival this young. More names are promised over the coming weeks.
