Hell Trepanner are putting The Consecration of Eternal Impurity on cassette through Fetzner Death Records and Thrashirts on 27 November.

The edition runs to a hundred copies, each with a download code in it, and pre orders are open. The album itself has been out since 20 March, when Awakening Records and Thrashirts issued it on CD, and all nine songs can be heard in full already.

The band formed in Lima in 2015 and have worked as a trio: Necromanza on bass and vocals, Destruktor on guitar and Agressor on drums. What they play is South American death metal in the oldest sense of the phrase, built on heavy riffing, whammy bar noise, blast beats and guttural vocals, and the label biography makes no attempt to dress it up as anything else. The record works blasphemy and desecration through the frame of a corrupted ceremony, with titles including Blaspheming in Primordial Tongues, From Perpetual Catacombs and Descend to the Eternal Funeral.

The debut sits on top of a decade of smaller releases. It starts with the Entrance to Hell demo in 2016 and takes in the Promo Rehearsal MMXVII tape, a split with Deshumanized, the Macabre Smell of Rot compilation and the Unholy Proclamations of Death and Darkness EP in 2021.
