Hellripper have released their covers of Zeke's "Let's Get Drugs" and "Mainline" digitally through Century Media Records. Both first came out earlier this year on a Decibel flexi disc, which is a format that by definition does not travel far.
James McBain, who is the band, put the reason simply: "ZEKE has been a favourite band of mine for many years now. The influence they have had on the sound of Hellripper cannot be overstated, 100mph balls to the wall metalpunk with endless guitar solos?"
Hellripper started in Aberdeen in 2014 and have kept a rate that suits the description: EPs, splits and compilations alongside the albums, black and speed metal played fast enough that the two stop being separable.
