High Parasite, the British band fronted by Aaron Stainthorpe of My Dying Bride, have released a stand alone single called "The Screams That Come" through Spinefarm, with a visualizer alongside it.

Gregor Mackintosh of Paradise Lost produced the track, and Lawrence Mackrory, whose mixing credits include Meshuggah and Katatonia, mixed it. Stainthorpe has been busy elsewhere too, more recently with Towards The Sinister.

The single is timed to the band's mainstage appearance at London Metalfest 2026, where they play the Electric Ballroom in Camden on a bill headlined by Candlemass. They spent the day before it at Raven Records in Camden, a short walk from the Ballroom, for a signing session.

The song arrives on its own rather than ahead of a record. High Parasite have one album behind them, Forever We Burn, from 2024, and nothing has been announced to follow it.
