Ingested headline twenty three shows across Europe and Britain in early 2027 to mark twenty years, opening in Oberhausen on 20 January and finishing in London.
The continental leg runs Hamburg, Berlin, Leipzig, Prague, Vienna, Munich, Lucerne, Karlsruhe, Rotterdam, Antwerp and Paris, then the British half takes in Exeter, Bristol, Southampton, Manchester, Glasgow, Newcastle, Leeds, Nottingham, Norwich and Cambridge. Psycroptic, Netherwalker and Tracheotomy go the whole way.
The band's own statement ends on a line nobody will let pass. "We've come a long way, but we're far from finished. We've been busy behind the scenes, and there's someone we've been waiting to introduce you to."
Somebody new, then, and no name. The obvious reading is a line-up addition, though a band who have spent two decades widening what they do could mean almost anything by it.
For a Manchester band who began as a slam act barely anybody outside the genre could stand, and turned into one that headlines rooms like these, twenty years is worth a teaser.
