Iron Flesh release All Hail The Rotten Flesh on 14 November. That, and the title, is the whole announcement so far, with the band promising details shortly.

Two weeks of notice for a full length is short, and it usually means one of two things: a label with a crowded schedule, or a band that would rather the record arrive than be discussed. This one has been on War Anthem Records, a German label with a long list of bands who work at exactly that tempo.

It will be the fourth album since the four piece formed in Bordeaux in 2017. Forged Faith Bleeding came in 2019, Summoning the Putrid a year later, and Limb After Limb in 2022, with a live record in between.

Old school Swedish death metal is the register, played at the French end of it, and the titles have never pretended otherwise. A record called All Hail The Rotten Flesh from a band called Iron Flesh is not trying to surprise anybody, which in this corner counts as a promise kept.
