Iron Maiden have put out a recap of the North American leg of Run For Your Lives, with a statement four words long: "We must do it again some time."
The leg ran from Toronto on 29 August to San Antonio on 29 September, fifteen shows across twelve provinces and states. That is a month of work and a deliberately small number of dates for a band of this size on that continent, which is what the Run For Your Lives routing has looked like everywhere: fewer shows, bigger rooms, and no attempt to play every market.
The next one is on 17 October in Lima, and the tour continues from there. Anthrax, who opened on this leg, spent one of the nights off playing a club on their own.
A recap film at the end of a continent is not news in itself. What it says, in the way these bands say things, is that the leg went well enough that they want another one, and for a band ending a tour cycle that is the only statement anybody was waiting for.
