Iron Maiden will headline Sonic Temple Art + Music Festival on Friday 14 May 2027, the first headliner announced for the event. It runs from 13 to 16 May at Historic Crew Stadium in Columbus, Ohio, with nearly 150 bands on the bill.
Danny Wimmer Presents say the band will return to North America for a limited number of shows in 2027 after finishing the North American leg of the 50th Anniversary Run For Your Lives tour, and that this is one of them. Bruce Dickinson has said there are things about next year he will not name yet, and a festival headline slot announced seven months out is not usually one of them.
The names already confirmed are A Perfect Circle, Primus, Clutch, Imminence, Saosin, Crowbar, Emmure, PeelingFlesh and several more, with the full line-up due next week.
The festival is locked into the stadium until at least 2030 under a five year extension the promoter signed in 2025, which is a longer commitment than most American festivals of this size ever make.
