John Bush sang on four Anthrax albums and has never taken them around Europe on his own. That changes in the summer of 2027.
The European Stomp Tour opens on 29 July at the Lido in Berlin, plays Wacken Open Air the next night and Turock Open Air in Essen the night after that, then Budapest, Vienna and Brutal Assault at Josefov on 5 August, with the United Kingdom, France and Switzerland also on the route.
The set is bounded by design: Sound Of White Noise, Stomp 442, Volume 8: The Threat Is Real and We've Come For You All, and nothing from either side of them. The band promise deeper cuts that have not been played in years, which for records this loved is most of the reason to go.
"Europa! I've come for you all," Bush says. "It is finally time to bring the John Bush sings the songs of Anthrax 1993 to 2003 show to the heavy metal continent. Cranking out songs from those four records. Wherever you are, come out, sing loud and let's do it."
