Hansen, the project Kai Hansen runs under his own surname, has a second album coming, ten years after the first.
The first was XXX - Three Decades in Metal in 2016, made as a one off to mark thirty years of a career that starts with Helloween and runs through Gamma Ray, and which he toured briefly as Hansen & Friends before putting it away. The live album Thank You Wacken came out of that in 2017, and then nothing until the compilation Xtrax: The Demos in 2024.
earMUSIC has the project, whose stated themes are autobiographical and the music business, which for someone who has been inside it since 1984 amounts to the same subject.
