KAT premiered the video for "Dark River" on Friday, the second single from Death Is Not Enough and, by the band's own account, the final one before the album arrives on 23 October through Logosound.

It follows "Waging War", and where that one set the terms this one narrows them. "Dark River" is old school heavy metal played straight, built on raw power and keeping well clear of any experiment, which is more or less the argument the whole record seems to be making.

Piotr Luczyk put the single next to a thought about irony. "I like having a sense of humor about myself. That doesn't mean I don't take important matters seriously," he said. "On the contrary: I believe perspective and irony do not diminish the importance of serious things. Sometimes they can make the message even more powerful and help it reach a wider audience."

The album runs ten songs, opening on "Waging War" and closing on "Devil", and comes out on CD, on vinyl and digitally. Forty years on from Metal and Hell, the band are still making the same case in the same language.
