King's Hammer have released "Breathing New Life", through Rottweiler Records and Broken Curfew Records, eight months after the debut album.

The project is one person. Chuck Weatherman wrote the song, played it, recorded it, mixed it and mastered it at his own Weathersound Studio in Richmond, Virginia, which is the model a great deal of American death metal now runs on and the reason a band of this size can release twice in a year.

The Color Of The Soul, the first album, arrived in February, and an EP came before that in 2025. The new song is described as raw and confrontational, built on heavy rhythmic passages with harmonic guitar lines over them, picking up speed as it goes.

Two labels on a single release is unusual, and it tends to mean the artist is being carried rather than signed, which for a one man death metal project is a better arrangement than it sounds.
