Klone have announced The Moon Is Witness for 12 March 2027 through V2 Records, and released a visualizer for "Unchained".

It follows The Unseen from 2024 and will be the tenth album in a catalogue that has moved a long way from where it started. The band began in progressive groove metal, the heavy end of late nineties French metal, and spent the last decade walking towards something closer to atmospheric progressive rock without ever quite leaving the first thing behind.

The label is worth noting too. Pelagic Records carried the records that made their reputation outside France, and V2 is a larger and less genre bound operation, which usually means a band is being pushed at an audience that does not read metal press.

A visualizer rather than a video, five months before the album, is the first move of a long campaign, and the gap between announcement and release says the label intends to work this one properly.

Twenty six releases stand behind it, including nine albums, which makes them one of the longest running bands in French progressive metal and one of the few to have found an audience in Britain and the Low Countries rather than only at home.
