The official account of the United States Department of Homeland Security has posted a video set to Korn's Blind. The clip pairs footage of the former Philadelphia Eagles safety Brian Dawkins with the song's opening, and went out in response to a post about a migrant caravan heading for the southern border, captioned “Our Time has come.” ThePRP reported it, crediting Lambgoat.
It is not the first time. Last November another early Korn track, Shoots And Ladders, ran under a video posted by Gregory K. Bovino, then the head of Border Patrol. In neither case does the band appear to have said anything publicly, and in neither case have they endorsed the use.
Blind opens the band's 1994 debut and is the song most people can identify from its first four seconds, which is presumably the point of using it. What a band can do about a government account posting a clip of its music is another question, and one Korn have so far chosen not to answer in public.
