Legion of the Damned will tour Mexico for the first time. Until now the Dutch band have only played Mexico City, and the new run takes them to venues around the country.
Metal Storm carried the announcement on 12 October. The confirmed venues and dates went out on the tour poster rather than in the text of the announcement, so for now the routing sits with the band and the local promoters and not in any date listing.
They have used this name since 2005, when the line up that had run as Occult since 1990 renamed itself. Eight albums have come since, the most recent Poison Chalice in 2023 on Napalm Records, with an EP of the same name that year.
So one Mexican city in twenty one years under this name, and a country wide run announced in a single poster. Metal Storm files them as death and thrash metal; Metal Archives puts them in Helden, in Limburg, with nineteen releases behind them.
