On Monday Malevolent Creation said their two touring members were no longer needed and wished them well. Four days later it is a public argument.

Phil Fasciana has now put out a second statement about the departures of guitarist Chris Cannella and bassist Jesse Jolly. He says Cannella was let go because he could not play the material properly live, and he has offered him a thousand dollars to post a video of himself getting through one song from the setlist without a mistake. Jolly, who Fasciana said was also dismissed, answered that he left of his own accord because of what he called a toxic environment. Fasciana's latest statement alleges Jolly was removed for covering for Cannella.

None of that has been verified by anyone outside the band, as Lambgoat point out in their own report of it.

What is verifiable is the position the band is in: back to four people, a bassist still to be named, and an album, Return Fire, that is meant to be the fourteenth. Thirty five years of this band have not been quiet, but the arguments used to happen after the records came out.
