Mama Doom have put out Picked Clean, the third and last song released before Eminent Womb, which Argonauta Records have on 25 September.
The Hudson Valley trio call what they do coven core and normally wrap it in film. Not this time. "We decided to go with a lyric video for a personal favorite of mine, 'Picked Clean'," they said. "It's a song that didn't need all of our usual visuals. We stripped it down and let the lyrics speak for themselves."
What is left is a song about erosion: being worn down by somebody, manipulated, and then taking your own strength back.
