Manntra release Wild Hunt on 25 December through Napalm Records, and have put out Watcher Watcher from it.
The song is about the loop people never get out of, wars and greed and fear and desperation running again, and about needing to believe something above it is paying attention. The band put the question the way the song does: "Maybe the Watcher finally turned its back on us? Maybe it simply got tired of watching us do the same things over and over again?"
Metal riffs, industrial elements, Balkan and Slavic melodies and vocals that are closer to ritual than to singing, which is what the Croatian band have been assembling since 2011 around Marko Matijević Sekul.
On the album: "Wild Hunt is made to be experienced, not just listened to. It has the weight of metal, the pulse of industrial music, a dark gothic atmosphere and the spirit of folk roots." It follows Titans from last year, their ninth.
