Manntra have released "Wild Hunt", the title track of the album they put out on 25 December through Napalm Records, with Fabienne Erni of Eluveitie and Illumishade singing on it.

A release date of 25 December is either a mistake or a decision, and for a Croatian band who have spent a decade building songs out of folklore it reads as the second. The song itself takes the legend of riders moving through storm and darkness and turns it, in the band's words, into "a story about redemption, courage, and the chance to start again".

Erni's presence is the detail that will travel furthest. She sings in two bands with their own audiences, and sharing a chorus with Marko Matijevic Sekul puts Manntra in front of people who came for Eluveitie.

The video was filmed in wintry forest with horses and open fires, which is what the song describes and therefore the one place a budget was worth spending. It follows the previous single from the same record.
