Mastic Scum release VOID on 29 October through MDD Records, their seventh album in a career that started in Salzburg in 1992.

Eleven tracks, and the band are explicit that the point is not reinvention: crushing riffs, dissonant melodies and atmospheric passages held together by the groove they have always had, described as a broader reading of the same uncompromising sound rather than a departure from it.

So far only the cover has been shown, by Hugo Antonio Teran of Blackened. The tracklist, the first single and the physical editions are still to come. CD and a limited vinyl are confirmed.

They play Vienna Deathfest at the Arena on 16 October, Core Carnage at the P.M.K. in Innsbruck on 14 November and Dome of Rock at the Rockhouse in Salzburg on 5 December.
