Melissa Bonny, who sings in Ad Infinitum, has released Live From The Apocalypse, a concert film and a live album drawn from the same performance. It went out on 1 November.

The material is Cherry Red Apocalypse, the solo record she put out independently on 23 January, and the set runs thirteen songs, from I'm A Monster at the start to Spellbound at the end, with the title track next to last.

Doing it this way is the point. An independent release has no label to fund a tour behind it, and a filmed performance with a full band is the version of a tour that one person can pay for. The audio was mixed and mastered at Hansen Studios in Denmark, which is where the money went instead.

"Releasing my album independently felt like opening a portal to a new world full of possibilities, which I want to explore fully," she said, describing the film as a cinematic mini movie with the live album crafted from the same night.

She has also recorded and toured with Kamelot, and her own band have been on Napalm since their second record.
