Meshuggah have put twenty European and British dates behind the North American run they announced last month, with Periphery and Vildhjarta opening.
It starts at the K.B. Hallen in Copenhagen on 29 September 2027 and ends at the OVO Arena Wembley on 30 October, taking in Rotterdam Ahoy, Cologne, Frankfurt, Esch-sur-Alzette, Hamburg, Berlin, Warsaw, Prague, Budapest, Vienna, Munich, Padua, Lyon, Madrid, Lisbon, Paris, Dublin and Manchester on the way.
Those are arenas and large halls, which for this band is the part worth noting. Meshuggah spent two decades as a group other musicians talked about more than audiences did, and the fortieth anniversary is being played in rooms that size.
The support says something too. Periphery exist because of what Meshuggah wrote, and Vildhjarta took the same idea somewhere murkier, so the whole bill is one argument heard three times. The North American leg has Testament and Blood Incantation instead, which is a different conversation entirely.
Tickets go on sale on Friday 6 November at midday.
