Metalite have a video for Neon Rain, the fourth song on Discovery. Reigning Phoenix Music released the album on 25 September and this is the third song from it to get a clip, after Starchild and Echoes of You.
Three videos in the first ten days is a release campaign running at speed, and the record gives it room: twelve tracks, opening on Our Time Has Come and taking in Into the Maze, Cyberspace, Starchild and Triforce. The album was announced with a cinematic trailer on the band's own channel.
It is their fifth album since they started in Stockholm in 2015, following Expedition One in 2024, A Virtual World in 2021 and Biomechanicals in 2019, which is a record every two or three years without a gap in a decade.
The titles are doing their own signalling. Cyberspace, Neon Rain, A Virtual World: the band have been writing around the same imagery for most of their existence, and the melodic metal underneath it has not needed the concept to be explained.
