Metallica have published their performance of Harvester Of Sorrow, filmed at Sphere in Las Vegas on 17 October during the Life Burns Faster residency.
It is one of a long sequence of songs the band have been posting from those nights, and the sequence is the story rather than any single entry in it. For Whom The Bell Tolls came from the same evening. Sad But True and Battery were filmed on 15 October, Until It Sleeps and Leper Messiah on the tenth, Fade To Black and Lux Aeterna on the eighth. On 3 October they played Welcome Home (Sanitarium) and Devil's Dance, the latter for the first time since 2008, and two nights before that ...And Justice For All, which had not been played in full since 2014, alongside The Call Of Ktulu.
Harvester Of Sorrow is from ...And Justice For All and has never left the live set for long, so it is the ordinary entry in an unusual run. What makes the residency worth following is that the band have treated a fixed venue as a reason to change the set every night rather than lock one in.
