Methedrine have put out a video for Time To Wake Up, the opening track of Death Punk, which the band release themselves on 10 October.
Five songs: Time to Wake Up, Tell Me Lies, Bozambo, Riot Squad and Dirty Derrick. The title is accurate enough as a description. This is crossover played at the speed where thrash riffs stop being riffs and start being a single sustained shove, with the vocal sitting in the hardcore register rather than the metal one.
The band formed in Udine in 2017 and their debut album, No Solution, No Salvation, came out on Time To Kill Records in 2024. Lou has sung in them from the start, Trampax has played guitar from the start, Nik has drummed since 2018, and Dave Castellarin took over bass last year.
