Meurtrier release Messe de fer tomorrow, 25 September, through Jawbreaker Records.
Nine songs, all of them in French, running about forty four minutes. Bête de l'ombre is the longest at 6:09, Meurtrier closes the record at 6:04, and Cri silencieux is the shortest at 3:43. The title track sits third.
It is the first album, after the Le visage du mal EP in 2024. The band formed in Quebec City in 2023 and plays speed metal with the words kept in the language the city speaks, which is rarer than it sounds: Anthony sings, Martin and Will play guitars, Jeff came in on bass last year and Randy took the drums this one.
