Minenfeld have released Instruments of Industrialized Warfare through Fucking Kill Records and Iconoclasm Conquest, who have streamed it in full.

Nine songs, and eight of them are theirs. "Arms Race", "Scourges of War", "303 Brit", "Iron Leviathan", "Hussaria", "Inflaming the Fields", "Kiautschou" and "Raiding in Silence" run through four centuries of mechanised killing, from Polish winged cavalry to a German colonial concession in China that most people have never heard of. It is a narrower subject than most war themed death metal bothers with, and the specificity is the appeal.

The ninth is "The Third of the Storms", which belongs to Hellhammer. Closing a record with somebody else's song is a choice that either reads as a tribute or as an admission, and in German death metal that particular song is neither casual nor safe: it is the root of most of what came after.

The band formed in 2016 in Osnabruck and have ten releases behind them, two of them albums. There is also a homemade video for "Iron Leviathan", filmed live.
